Frequently Asked Questions

Therapeutic Services

Do you offer assessments or help families find the right level of care?
Yes. I provide comprehensive independent diagnostic evaluations and consultation to help individuals and families understand what's happening and determine the most appropriate next steps, whether that's outpatient therapy, a higher level of care, or coordination with other providers.

What is your therapeutic approach?
I take an integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. I also value experiential approaches and have collaborated with colleagues in equine-assisted therapy. All of my work is trauma-informed, and I tailor interventions to each client's needs, goals, and circumstances, because individualized care is what creates lasting change.

When are appointments available?
I see clients Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening appointments available.

Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. I offer secure video sessions for clients located in Pennsylvania, as well as in-person sessions at my West Chester office.

Do you accept insurance? What are your fees?
I provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement, call to discuss rates.

How do I get started?
Contact me to schedule a brief phone consultation. We'll discuss what you're looking for and whether my practice is the right fit.

What if I need immediate help?
My practice is not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Executive Coaching

How is executive coaching different from therapy?
Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health concerns. Coaching focuses on leadership, performance, and professional growth. My clinical background shapes how I understand people under pressure, but coaching is a distinct service with its own goals and agreements.

Who do you work with?
I work with executives, founders, healthcare leaders, and senior professionals navigating growth, transition, high-stakes decisions, burnout, and change.

What does a coaching engagement look like?
Most engagements begin with an initial consultation, followed by sessions every two to four weeks over a period of six months. Sessions are available in person or by video.

Is coaching confidential?
Yes. What you share in our sessions remains confidential. When coaching is sponsored by your organization, we agree at the outset on what, if anything, is shared with your employer, typically goals or general progress, never the content of our conversations.

Can I work with you for both therapy and coaching?
To maintain clear professional boundaries, I don't provide coaching and therapy to the same individual, but I'm happy to recommend trusted colleagues.
